Scriptural
Remarks regarding doctrines of error, which effects the true teaching of Daniel
ch 7 of the Kingdom of Heaven, which is clearly taught in Chapter 7, and 9 of
the book of Daniel.
1. For
as long as I can remember Scholars of the Bible has taught that the common use
in the Bible regarding the words Kingdom and Church was used synonymous; that
is both words meaning one and same object. However, now that we have so many
mega preachers and teachers who hyper-literalize the Holy Scriptures with their
opinions. Some are now saying that the term Kingdom is broader and more
comprehensive in its use, and they say that the term Church is limited to
the first century Christians who were seeking the Kingdom of God at the
destruction of Israel, Matt. 21:43.
2. Allow
me time to make an argument against such teaching. First part of this teaching
is true, but a little bit of truth catches your interest, and so the second
part of this teaching is to say that since this word Church was directed to the
first century Christians who was seeking the Kingdom of God, we no longer have
a need to use the word Church, we are all the family of God and in His Kingdom.
So what does this lead to? All Churches makes up the Kingdom of God, we no
longer use the term “The Church of Christ meets here”. Change the name; give it
a name that is more attractive to the change people. Now you may say, O, but
that will not happen! Wise up my friend, already more than 200 Churches in the
United States have changed the name from the Church of Christ such as the
Church in Ardmore OK, House of God, Or family of God, such gives refuge to all
kind of beliefs.
3. I
would like for these unbelievers to give me a reason why they would not select
one of the Biblical names which is recorded in the book of Hebrews in chapter
12:22-25, the Lord's Kingdom has in ancient times been called Zion, why not call
it the City of God? Why not call it the Heavenly Jerusalem? Why not call it the
General Assembly called out by God? Why not call it the Church of the First
born. Now all these names is Scriptural; but they all refer to the Kingdom, the
General Assembly of God. Don’t you know that to teach contrary to God’s Word is
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, Matt. 12:32.
4. Allow
me time to give you some examples of the Kingdom of God, and the General
Assembly of God.
A.
When
you read about the Kingdom of God in the Bible, you are reading about a
Spiritual institution authorized by God since the beginning of creation, one
which the obedient angels had the joy of being members of, that Kingdom is
still the same, and is still intended for the same use, it was there for Enoch,
it was there for Noah, it was there for Abraham, but this kingdom has rules and
regulations which any kingdom must have; but these are very strict. You see,
Abraham had faith, O Boy he had faith, but read from chapter 12 to chapter 16
list all the problems Abraham had, yes he had faith; But that faith alone would
not save him, look at the trouble he had with his wife, OK, now turn back to
Gen.15 and verse 6, all this time Abraham had faith in God; but in verse 6 he
confesses his BELIEF in God, And God reckoned it to him as Righteousness…Well
you say how does this effect us today? Read Matt. 6:33,” seek ye first His
Kingdom----And His Righteousness. Brother you will never reach heaven until you
have confessed your belief in God by reading His Word, and hearing His word,
then you are a fit subject for Baptism. The case of Abraham is our pattern
today, he heard God, after a period of time and years of travel among sin, he,
confessed that he believed, and then God reckoned it to Abraham as
Righteousness. That my friend is the Gospel of the New Testament. The Holy
Spirit said that the Gospel was preached to Abraham, - Gal. 3:8.
B.
Now we
have talked about the Kingdom of God, we have talked about the Assembly of
God…Now we are going to make some comparisons of each. Remember, even in
Ancient writings Kingdom and Assembly {church} has been used synonymous; they
are and will continue to be especially to those who seek after His Kingdom and
His Righteousness.
The
Word Assembly in Greek has two meaning; the first has to do with the affairs of
the country. So then we look again at the Assembly {Gr Ekklesia} from ek, out
of, and klesis, a calling {kaleo},
so for the Greeks it meant a calling, like ringing the Bell to call the fireman
to duty. Well we are not interested in that view; but in view 2, to the whole
company of the redeemed, and is further described as the Congregation of
believers. Faith is not mentioned -- {BELIEVERS IS}.
So now
let us
make some reasonable views. Since the word Church is not found in the original
Greek Mss, what do we find? Assembly, well this was copied from the Syriac Mss
which also says Assembly. {See the Nestorian Mss}. So then, if the Assembly is
the called out of God, then there must be a meeting place, a place to come to
in order to answer the call. Now the one calling must have authority to call.
If this be true then the caller must have a territory, if he has a territory,
he must be a ruler, if he be a ruler his subjects constitutes a Kingdom. Zech.
14:9, Christ the only One. A Kingdom must have a King. God was King over His
people until they said No to God; but give us a king like other nations. 1
Samuel 8:7-8, 1 Samuel 10:17-19.
So really
we are
talking about Assemblies and Kingdoms in the Old Testament, 1 Samuel 11:14. Did
you know that the Old Testament mentions the Kingdom as a refuge for the
obedient 230 times? Well, I ask that any one please show me the word Church in
Ancient Literature, the word came into use when King James of England hired a
group of people, their credentials is not known, however they translated the
Greek Mss for the King, and made changes as would be pleasing to him, the word
church comes from the English language of the middle ages, the word was not
used in earlier times. So Scripturally we are left with the Assembly.
C.
{Gr
Basileia} It’s meaning in the Greek Mss of the first Century. It’s primarily an
abstract noun, denoting sovereignty Royal power, having dominion. The kingdom of
God is the sphere of God’s Rule. The kingdom of God is in the midst of His
people, Luke 17:21, where the king is, there is the Kingdom. There is but one
kingdom variously described, of the Son of God, since He purchased with His own
blood. Sources Vines Dictionary of the New Testament. Syriac Mss, copy. Greek
Lexicon by Thayer. The Analytical Greek Lexicon of the New Testament, by
Wigram. Nestoriam Mss. From these two subjects we should have learned that the
Kingdom established in Heaven in the beginning was an eternal kingdom, and was
established for those who would seek and find righteousness. The Assembly is
known as those mentioned above who were seeking the righteousness of God.
Therefore, the General Assembly is now called Church, whether Church or
Assembly it was established for those seeking God from the beginning to the end
of Eternity. The term Assembly represents the Kingdom, and you cannot have a
Kingdom without having an Assembly, Kingdom is not broader and more
comprehensive in its use, than Assembly or Church. Neither was done away in A.
D. 70. So we must keep in mind what all the Scripture teaches on any given
subject 2 Tim. 3:16, Every Scripture is inspired by God. Every Kingdom must
have a government; government is the rules and regulations of any Kingdom. The
assembly must obey the Government. Jesus in Luke 17: 20-21, states clearly that
the Kingdom of God was in the midst of the people, the Kingdom of God was the
same kingdom that God established in the beginning of creation, this was
purchased by the blood of Christ, so the kingdom is still in our midst, if the
Assembly or {Church} was done away in the first century, then we have no Kingdom;
for the People constitutes the Assembly, or {Church} Eph. 5:10-14, False
teaching is now undressed!
5. In
order to show the difference between false teaching and truth, I will discuss
two more issues before moving into Daniel chapter 7. The teaching of no sin in
the new Covenant age, by sin being taken away in A. D. 70 is false, and those
who believe such has committed Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which there
is no forgiveness. Those who believe such are opposed to the truth of Daniel,
which causes an intricate and complicated entangled book. God is not the Author
of such, therefore we must truthfully untangle this false doctrine before
entering upon Daniel, and in that way we can enter Daniel with pure hearts
willing to learn.
Most
of this teaching that there is
no sin in this age of the Spiritual Covenant comes from the misuse of Romans
8:1-3, reaching this conclusion is based upon the idea that this Covenant is a
physical Covenant, some of those who hold this teaching when questioned about
the Covenant will reply that it is a Spiritual Covenant, but then they still
hold the false idea that sin was done away completely. Now here is another
problem; they forget, or do not know that the removal of sin is conditional?
Yes conditional. An example, Acts 2:36-38, Peter preached to Jews only on this
day, in verse 36 he accuses the Jews of sin; they crucified Jesus; they were
convicted of murder, they knew it, and cried out what shall we do! Peter
answered and said, “Repent each of you and be baptized for the forgiveness of
sins”. This action on this day by the Holy Spirit, Acts 2:4 sets the pattern
for eternity. Showing that salvation is Conditional, and to receive forgiveness
one must first hear the Word of God taught, that person must BELIEVE in God,
Confess that fact, and be Baptized in water for the forgiveness of sins. Every
conversion in the New Testament follows this pattern, there is no Scripture
that states sin was taken out of the way in 70 A.D. There still remains the
fact that salvation is conditional upon obedience, whether before 70 A.D. or
after 70 A. D. So it is in Daniel 7, with the Kingdom, receiving this spiritual
Kingdom is Conditional. Meet those conditions and you can be free from sin. If
you sin you have an advocate with the Father, when your heart is turned back to
God the blood of Christ will cleanse you, 1 John 1:5-10. Teaching that there is
no sin in this age is gross error.
6. We
hear people talk about the Gospel making no distinction between men and women,
that the Gospel made them the same! O, Boy what a mess people gets into by
listening to false teachers. But, according to the pattern and principle, we
will have false teachers through Eternity, look at and observe Gal. 1:6-9. But
now if the Gospel made no distinction, I want to see a man give birth to a
9-pound baby!
There
again someone is thinking
physical, The Holy Spirit is speaking in Spiritual terms. Take this doctrine
and answer Luke 20:34-36, if we are physical how can we be like angels? No the
real issue is that people misunderstands the difference between Spiritual and
physical. If they both are the same, then the woman can go into the pulpit and
preach, lead singing, do the praying, this is physical; but now lets look at
the Spiritual from 1 Cor. 14:34-35, this amounts to only deception and error,
expose it, and not associate with it as the Holy Spirit commanded in Eph.
5:11-14.
There
was a time when God did make
distinctions between people; but now there is no distinctions between Jew,
Greek, or Gentile, no distinction because of color, Eph. 2:11-22. The Holy
Spirit through the Apostle Paul makes it known that there is a distinction
between man and woman, 1 Cor. 11:3-9, the woman was created for the man; that
does not make them equal. Think for a moment, if there is no distinction
between man and woman, man could wear Women’s clothes without being called Gay!
Imagine both wearing a red dress and a wig, and you try to tell me that the
Gospel makes no distinction between men and women. How do you deal with 1 Tim. 2
8-9, and again look at 1 Cor. 11:3, as well as Eph. 5:22-23.1 Tim. 2:11-12, I
think this evidence will lay this false belief to bed forever.
NOW
HAVING ATTENDED TO THE ABOVE FALSE DOCTRINES AND BELIEFS AND HAVE GIVEN
SCRIPTURAL EVIDENCE OF THEIR ERROR WHICH WOULD HAVE EFFECTED THE TRUTH
WHICH WILL BE TAUGHT IN DANIEL CHAPTER 7, WE NOW PROCEED WITH DANIEL.
First,
we must show Scripturally and historically the Eleven horns of Daniel 7.
1.
Pompey
{52-49 B.C.}
2.
Julius {47-44 B.C.}
3.
Augustus
{Octavian} {31 B.C. to AD 14}.
4.
Tiberius {AD 14-37
AD}.
5.
Caligula {AD 37-AD
41}
6.
Claudius
{AD 41- AD 54}
7.
Nero {AD 54-
AD 68}
8.
Galba {AD 68- AD
69}
9.
Otho {AD 69}
10. Vitellius {AD 69}
11. Vespasian
{AD 69-AD 79}
We
cannot make any successful study
of Daniel without using the Eleven horns above, on occasions I have held
lectures on this subject, and have them on Video also on my Web site, the
lectures consisted of four hours continuous speaking. This lesson will be
condensed for use in group studies, or one on one, which will benefit the
teacher and student. The Eleven horns above will introduce us to the first
eight verses of Daniel chapter 7. As we look at Daniel 7, verse 1, in the first
year of Belshazzar King of Babylon, Belshazzar was the Grandson of King Nebuchadnezzar
of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar was King when Daniel was carried into captivity in
Babylon, chapter 1,
Daniel
saw a dream and visions in
His mind as he lay on his bed, and then he wrote the dream down and related the
following summary of it. Since this is his summary, we have only that which he
wrote, therefore, by him saying he wrote a summary of the vision; we cannot
speculate on all the things that Daniel saw. We must deal with only that which
is recorded: ”Daniel said, I was looking in my vision by night, and behold, the
four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea. Verse 2. Verse 3, And four
great beasts were coming up from the sea, different from one another At this
point it is necessary to call your attention to—two very important issues. FIRST,
you have a pressing need to study Daniel chapter 2: 25-48, when you read
chapter two, you will understand that chapter 2, that God reveals to Daniel the
mystery of the king’s dream. The dream that Nebuchadnezzar had and, which
Daniel tells here is one and the same meaning. Both the King’s dream of the
four parts of the great statue that he saw was equal to the four great beasts
that Daniel reveals to us here. SECONDLY, we need to look ahead of where we are
in our study and find the real meaning of the phrase “four great beasts were
coming up from the sea. Look at verse 17 now, the angel informs Daniel that the
exact meaning is four great beast are four Kings who will arise from the
earth”. Now there is no misunderstanding about beasts coming up from the sea.
This is Spiritual and prophetic language, it is visionary.
So,
now we can settle in on the four
parts of the great “Statue and the four beasts that will come up from the
earth. Verse 4 relates to the first beast that will come up to conquer the known
world the first beast represented Babylon. Verse 5, and behold, another beast,
a second one. This beast represented Medo Persia; Medo Persia came against
Babylon and conquered the Empire in one night. Verse 6, After this I kept
looking, and behold, another one, the third beast which was Greece, Greece was
a small country with only about 50,000 fighting men coming against an Empire
with over 6 million men, Alexander the great led the Grecian army and conquered
the Persian Empire. We know from chapter 2, that God had planned this war
against the world as a judgment; but He is not finished yet. Look at Verse 7,
after this I kept looking in the night vision, and behold, a fourth beast,
dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong. And it had ten horns. Verse 8,
While I was contemplating the horns, behold another horn, a little one, came up
among them, and three of the first horns {plural} were pulled out by the roots
before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man, and a
mouth uttering great boasts”.
It
is very important to observe the
following evidence in behalf of our main study of the Kingdom of Heaven----We
ask the question why is this information so important? First, before we can
understand the Kingdom of Heaven, when it was given to the Saints, and who gave
it to them. Which of the Eleven horns were reigning over the Empire of the
fourth Beast, only then can we use the schedule of horns to determine for a
fact who was reigning, and at that time determine the exact time of the quote,
“second coming of Christ”, and whether His coming was a physical coming, or a
Spiritual coming. Yes the following is very important.
Deut.
28:1-14, here is the beginning
of the nation of Israel. God has already made His Covenant with the people. God
having foreknowledge of all things, He foresaw that Israel would be a problem,
in keeping with all His plans which were finished before the foundation of the
World, Heb. 4:3, He swears an Oath to them. The first, if they diligently
obeyed all His commands, He would bless them above all people, however if they
did not diligently obey; they would be punished severally, please read this in
Deut. 28:15-47; they did not diligently obey Him, and so God began to destroy
the tribes, first the 10 northern tribes were carried to Assyria, never to
return. Secondly, Judah, the remainder of Israel was carried away to Babylon
for 70 years punishment----Now if you look back at the 4 beasts, Babylon was
the first, then Medo Persia, was the second, under Cyrus King of Persia, the
Jews were allowed to return to Jerusalem to restore and rebuild the City and
Temple----Now Alexander the great by an act of God was chosen to go to war
against Persia, with very few men compared to Persia, Alexander the great
conquered Persia.
Next
in line because of sin and
disobedience is the Fourth Beast Rome, and its Eleven horns. Now this brings us
up and through Verse 8. Now I must submit early evidence that God, being a God
who can foresee from the point of beginning through Eternity, foreknew the
physical, and Spiritual out come of this nation He brought up out of Egypt. In
the First three books by Moses, God declared and made known His Covenant and
laws with them. But in Deut. 28:1-14, He makes an oath to them. “IF you will
diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments
which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all
nations of the earth”. Then in Deut. 28:15-47, where He informs them of all the
calamities which will befall then if they fail to obey all His commandments;
and they did fall from the grace of God in a large way. First the 10 Northern
tribes were carried away into captivity into Assyria, never to return to the
land of Israel, only Judah and Simeon was left, Simeon merged with Judah. Soon
Judah was involved in sins that would make the 10 tribes look like angels… God
was angry, because He had sent prophets into Israel, and the people would kill
them, Judah would not turn back to God. God in keeping with His plan called
upon King Nebuchadnezzar to come against Judah. Babylon had conquered all of
the known world except Judah, and it was God who kept him from invading Judah;
but now God has called the King, the King invaded Judah and carried away the
elite along with the Royal family in 606 B.C. God gave them 10 years to repent;
they did not repent, 596 B.C. God sent Nebuchadnezzar back to Judah, this time
take the common people, work them as slaves. The poor of the land was given
another 10 years to repent and turn to God, that did not happen, King
Nebuchadnezzar was summoned again; they were to remain in captivity years. By
this time Nebuchadnezzar was dead and Medo Persia has invaded Babylon and
conquered that Empire. King Cyrus of Persia made a decree that the Jews could
return to their land and rebuild the city and temple. God had promised them of
the return based upon their obedience. He gave them another chance.. In the Meantime
God and Greece was
preparing war with Persia. Greece had only a small army while Persia had 6
million foot men, however Alexander the great conquered the Persian Empire…Now
we consider Deut 28:48-66, this is where the Fourth Beast of Daniel 7:7-8 comes
to life, The Roman Empire went out as God had planned and Conquered all the
known world except Judah, and Jerusalem---Now when you read Deut. 28:48-66, you
gain insight into Judah’s future, and you will see how important it is to
recognize the calendar of rulers of Rome. ---We must now attend to verses 9-12
before returning to the Kingdom of Heaven in chapter 7.
Although
I gave a long introduction
at first concerning error which is taught in regards to Daniel’s visions. With
your interest at Heart before dealing with verses 9-12, I feel that I must make
you aware of the following. In the beginning God predetermined certain
mysteries and for the balance of Daniel 7, we will deal with these mysteries.
Before the creation of earth God’s plan was completed. God predetermined that
certain events would occur in its history. These predetermined events were
called “mysteries” because they were hidden in earlier ages and would be made
known by divine revelations in later ages.
At
an appropriate time they were
revealed by God’s spirit to chosen men {Rom. 11:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; 4:1; Eph.
3:2-5; 6:20; Col. 1:26; Eph.1: 5; 1:9; 3:3; 4:9; 5:32; 6:19; 1 Cor. 2:7: 4:1;
13:2; 1 Tim. 3:9.}
Who
became stewards of the mysteries
of God {1 Cor. 4:1} with the responsibility to faithfully and accurately
proclaim and promote them. The unspiritual rulers of this age and the natural
man do not understand them even after they have been revealed, 1 Cor. 2:4-10.
Daniel
7:9-10, “I kept looking Until
thrones were set up, And the Ancient of days took His seat, His vesture was
like white snow, And the hair of His head like pure wool, His throne was ablaze
with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing and
coming out before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, and myriads
upon myriads were standing before Him; the Court sat, and the books were
opened”.
Without
this being revealed by an
Apostle we would never know the real truth regarding this event. However, we
have the Apostle John in Revelation 20:1-4, begins the revelation of this event
in Dan. 7:9-10, First Satan is bound with a spiritual Chain. This meant that
God did not want him interfering during this Court session. Remember, that this
book was written to, and about Daniel’s people, the Jews.
What
is happening here is God’s
Judgement against ISRAEL. It has nothing to do with the Gentile world as many
claim; they do not understand the mystery, moving now to verse 4, notice, “And
I saw thrones” Daniel said the same thing. This is the mystery being revealed
by the Apostle John. Notice the Scripture says “Thrones” plural, so there was
more thrones than one throne, and more than one person who sat upon these
thrones, God predestined that there be more than one person to Judge Israel.
Matt. 19:28, “And Jesus said to them, {the Apostles} “Truly I say to you that
you who have followed Me in the Regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on
His glorious Throne, you also shall sit upon twelve Thrones judging twelve
tribes of Israel”. Here Jesus is revealing the mystery that Daniel speaks
about. The Scripture is very clear as to who is being judged. The twelve tribes
of Israel! After the judgement on Israel, then God opens the books of life.
Here is what you have heard of as the white Throne Judgement, John reveals the
mystery of that, when Israel was judged, God opened the books of life and
judged the whole world, from the beginning of creation until this period, other
long investigation will reveal this time as being within 2 or 3 months of late
66 AD, or early in 67 AD, because when the court found Israel guilty the
verdict was destruction, and ROME declared war on Israel as is recorded on
Feb.10, 67 AD.
The
general teaching today among
most Denominations is that this Judgement that is revealed here has not
happened yet! That it is a General Judgement, which includes the Gentiles!
Nothing could be farther from the truth. Verse 11, Concerns the Beast, the
Serpent of Old, the Devil, This also is a mystery, it cannot be understood
without this mystery being revealed, opened up, explained by someone who
possesses the Holy Spirit. John reveals this in Rev. 20: 7-10 this is the Beast
being cast into the lake of Fire, Forever and Ever. The lake of fire is where
he is today, the mystery has been solved…
KINGDOM
OF HEAVEN-------DANIEL
CHAPTER 7:13-14.
CHRIST
AND THE KINGDOM, THE PRIMARY
MYSTERY OF HEAVEN.
The
coming of Jesus Christ into the
World was not an after thought or hastily implemented plan B, or C, when Adam
disappointed God by his sin. God foreknew and had prepared for this development
long before the foundation of the World. “For He Christ was in God’s mind in the
garden, Gen. 3:15. Christ was foreknown before the foundation of the World”, 1
Pet. 1:20. The coming and ministry of Christ {the anointed One Himself was
God’s greatest mystery, Col. 1:13-20; 1:26; 2:2; 4:3. Christ and the Kingdom of
Heaven cannot be separated, for He and the Kingdom is indeed the primary
“mystery” by which we can be saved 1 Tim. 3:9. John the Baptist and Jesus came
preaching the Kingdom of Heaven as an invading Spiritual force upon earth which
required one to hear, BELIEVE, repent and be buried with Christ in water for
the forgiveness of sins, the provisions for one falling from grace is bound
upon earth and in Heaven.
1
John 1:5-10, Can a Christian
BELIEVER fall from GRACE? When one
fails to believe after once receiving Grace, the rules and regulations of the
Gospel, you have fallen from Grace, You who depart from the gospel and seek to
be justified by your own beliefs, that is law, and you are lost Gal. 5:4; Heb.
12:15; John 1:7.
“I
kept looking in the night visions, and behold with the clouds of heaven One
like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of days and was
presented before Him. And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a Kingdom, that
all the peoples, nations, and men of every language might serve Him. His Dominion
is an everlasting Dominion Which will never pass away; And His Kingdom is one,
which will not be destroyed”. -----Since the New Testament has revealed this
mystery, we can talk about it with Biblical knowledge, and not opinions, or
“That’s not what it means”. ---So lets list these particular mysteries and then
look at the Revelation of them Dan. 7:13-14.
#
1. Ancient of days.
#
2. Glory and a Kingdom.
#
3. Dominion which will not pass away.
#
4. His Kingdom is one which will never be destroyed.
#
5. One like a Son of Man was coming.
1. The
Ancient of days is mentioned only 3 times as referring to God or Christ. Dan.
7:9; 7:13; 7:22. Notice the reference from Dan. 7: 9, is not specific as verse
4 of Revelation where the judgement of Israel is seen. However, again when the
mystery is revealed by Christ we can come to a Biblical conclusion and solve
the mystery. Matt. 19:28, "And“ Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you
{Apostles} who have followed me in the regeneration when the Son of Man will
sit on His glorious Throne, you also shall sit upon twelve Thrones, Judging the
twelve tribes of Israel. Now the mystery as to which of the Ancient of days
would sit on the Throne judging Israel is made clear, no longer is it a
mystery. It was Christ. Christ is as old as God, Prov. 8:22-30. But notice also
in Rev. 20:11-20, we have another Judgement where it does not mention either
the Ancient of days, or give a hint toward Christ; rather from verse 11 to 15
this was the white Throne Judgement and God maintained the books of life, and
so this is the Judgement you hear of as being yet future! Suppose this is yet
future, think of the consequences of such, and this is a fact, if this has not
been fulfilled, and Israel and their religion was not destroyed! YOU know what?
We would be under the law, and would still not be a part of the Spiritual
common wealth of Israel. You don’t believe that! Look at Eph, 2:8-16, we have
been grafted in, there is but one people now all the nations has been made as
one through the blood of Christ. Therefore, in this first section it is the Son
of God who is coming before the Father, the God, the Ancient of days, this is
made clear; therefore the mystery here is solved but in Verse 22 of Daniel 7
the Ancient of Days is mentioned, “Until the Ancient of days came, and
judgement was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time
arrived when the saints took possession of the Kingdom. This Ancient of days
was Christ.
Remember
that through all prophecy
it was Christ the Son of God who was coming at birth, and returning for
judgement upon Israel. It was Christ who would transfer the Kingdom of God,
which He purchased Acts 20:28, and at His revelation He would bring Salvation
in reality, the promise of Acts 2:38 would be fulfilled, 1 Pet. 1:4-7; it was
Christ who would bring salvation in full at His revelation {coming}. It was
Christ who would bring Grace at His revelation, 1 Pet. 1:13, and it was Christ
who would remove the scepter from Judah, Gen. 49:10. It was the Gentiles that would
be blessed by Jesus when they took the Kingdom, the same Kingdom spoken of in
Dan. 7:22, 27-28, the same Kingdom Jesus spoke of in Matt. 21: 3, ”Therefore I
say to you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you, {Israel} and be
given to a nation producing fruit of it”.
Dan.
7: 27, “Then the sovereignty,
and dominion, and the greatness of all the Kingdoms under the whole heavens
will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One, His kingdom will
be an everlasting Kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.” NOW,
give some thought to Dan. 7:13-14. What does God give unto the Son of Man? It
was the Son of man who received the above; it was the God the ancient of days
giving to the Son of Man, the Ancient of days. This Kingdom, this mystery has
been solved. Christ the Ancient of days are the receiver.
ANOTHER
MYSTERY. WHEN IS THE ABOVE
GOING TO HAPPEN?
First I refer you back to page 3 where I have given you
historically the rulers of the fourth beast in their order. If you notice
carefully Dan. 7:20, “And the meaning of the ten horns that were on its head,
and the other horn which came up, and before which 3 fell, namely, that horn
which had eyes and a mouth uttering great boasts, and which was larger in
appearance than its associates.” So, Daniel is concerned about this Eleventh
horn, this is the same little horn in verse 8 which made up the Eleven; since
this is only a Summary of what Daniel saw, we can see from his questions and of
him being distressed about the Eleventh horn, he must have seen the whole war,
the slaughter, the carnage, the destruction in which the Eleventh horn would
bring upon his people, so when we look at page 3, we see that Vespasian was the
Eleventh horn, he was the only one who had 3 of his comrade Generals, and all
their families killed before he took the leadership of Rome. These 3 were
Galbo, Otho, Vitellus. So the answer is found here; but if it were not revealed
of the things which would beset Israel by Christ we would still not know; Jesus
reveals the mystery to us in Luke 21:1-38, I will take nothing out of context
by referring to just several Scriptures with this subject, and context, look at
verse 20 where Jesus informs the disciples that when they see Armies surround
Jerusalem then know that her destruction is at hand; these Armies would be Rome
the fourth beast. Plans is coming together for God, Deut. 28:48-66. NOW, the
Eleventh horn was Vespasion, who reigned from 69-79, so then the above
mysteries was completed, fulfilled during this period of time, see Dan. 12:6-7.
“It Is Finished”.
Further
evidence is found in Matt.
24:1- 34, if you will read Matt. 24:25-32, here you have some of the more
important signs which will help you to understand the time, but immediately
after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon
will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven! Wow; what a day.
How are we to Biblically understand these events? First we must understand
these are parabolic, and visionary phrases, and yes, if a person does not study
their Bible they will be misled in their meaning! Then the Son of Man will
appear. NOW to solve this mystery, turn in your Bible to Gen. 37:5-10, here is
where Joseph the son of Jacob had a visionary dream, he dreamed that the sun,
moon, and the Eleven stars bowed down and paid homage to Him, he told the
visionary dream to his father, {Remember this is the same kind of visionary
dream that Daniel had} Listen to what the prophet Jacob asked; “What is this
dream that you have had? Shall I {the sun} and you’re mother {the moon} and
your brothers {those who constituted the tribes of Israel, the people}. So what
does all this mean? Jesus used the same visionary phrases that Joseph used but
for one difference. Jacob and his tribe was at the point of destruction,
starvation. In Matthew it was about the same people the descendants of Jacob,
the 12 tribes of Israel, and they were at the point of destruction, and He
Jesus was the only one who could save them through Spiritual food, the gospel.
NOW, Matt. 24:34 informs us is language we can understand, Jesus said, “This
generation {His generation} will not pass away until all these things take
place.” So in Matthew and Luke Mark, and John, the sun represented the rulers
of Israel. The moon represented the second in command, which was the
Priesthood, the stars, the people in general who constituted the 12 tribes, or
the nation of Israel. Mystery solved.
The
Son of Man would appear before
the Generation that Jesus lived in would pass away; the same Geek word is used
by Peter on the day of Pentecost Acts 2:40, when he said, “save your self from
this perverse Generation. Peter spoke of people living Then, NOT 2 thousand
years later!
# 2.
THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN: THE
KINGDOM OF GOD: THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST.
THE
CHURCH OF GOD: THE CHURCH OF
CHRIST: {GREEK} ASSEMBLY.ZION: THE CITY OF GOD: THE HEAVENLY JERUSALEM: CHURCH
OF THE FIRST BORN.
The
above names are all of which we
read about within the Holy Scriptures, each passing age had its own form of
speech. The above name’s does not represent 10 different religious
institutions; but represents One Spiritual institution covered by the Covenant
between God and Man. In short a Covenant is an agreement between two or more
parties. In this case the Covenant is between God and man; God says I will give
you salvation and guarantee that you will be in Heaven with me ----If you will
agree to follow my Rules, Regulations, and Government, which was prepared
before the foundation of the World. Heb. 4:3, if we both agree upon these
terms, then we are ready to be baptized into the body of Christ. The Holy
Spirit seals this agreement between the two parties Eph. 4:30, 1:13.
Since
God has created mankind as a
free moral agent, mankind is the only one who can break this agreement. One of
the more important false doctrines of the last 400-year’s, is that one Church
is as good as another! Such teaching regardless of how much mankind desires
change: We may change; but the instructions of God never changes, and in keeping
with the above Names, our Soul may be saved, or lost depending on just how much
that Acts 4:11-12 means to us. Christ is our Chief Corner Stone, the Names
above is the only Names that God will recognize, ”No other Name given under
Heaven by man where by we must be saved”. This was spoken by the Holy Spirit,
change it in any way; and Blaspheme against the Holy Spirit; where there is no
forgiveness. Man breaks this agreement in most cases by so called friends being
influenced to forsake God in order to accommodate his own desires. In breaking
the agreement he has made with God. He severs relationship with God; he has
sinned, he has only one recourse should he decide to turn back to God, this is
fully explained in simple terms in 1 John 1:5-10. John wrote to the Church in
the Gentile world, which consisted of both Jew and Gentile, and further it is
bound upon the Church Eternally, and is bound in Heaven. Therefore, no one can
say Scripturally that no sin exists in this Christian age. However, when we have
been baptized into the Body of Christ, there is no sin in the body of Christ.
When sin occurs in the Body of Christ, it is the same as sin being committed in
Heaven among the angels; no probation is made, God will do as He once done when
Sin occurred in His Body in Heaven; they were cast out for judgement, Jude 6; 2
Pet. 2:4-5 ---Christ’s Body is Heaven on earth. 1 Cor. 15:50, God will keep it
that way.
In
Daniel 7:13-14, we see One like
the Son of Man coming up to the Ancient of days {God} And to Him was given
dominion, glory and a Kingdom, that all the peoples nations, and men of every
language might serve Him.
You
should notice here that this
dominion and Kingdom belonged to someone before it could be given away;
although the Scriptures states that Satan had a dominion, and was Prince of the
air, and ruler of this world, John 12:31; 16:11; Eph. 2:2; Dan. 7:26 but it
does not mean that he was sole ruler, or sole heir of the world, or earth, it
was given to him for his use in a sinful way; until Christ came and was
Crucified, and took back all the rites that God had given the Serpent, the
Devil. Rev. 11:15. Therefore, God was sole ruler of both Heaven and earth.
Therefore, the kingdom belonged to God, if not, why did Christ not go to
someone else to receive a Kingdom, No; but He came up to God. How many Kingdoms
did God give to Christ? Only One. And for this reason it was only One Assembly
Purchased by Christ, Acts 20:28.
We
have listed all the Scriptural
names for the Kingdom above; but we are also to notice that in Daniel 7:13-14
only One institution was so named, and so given. Kingdom, Assembly, or Church.
We go to Luke 19: 12-22, here Jesus gives the Disciples an insight into this
Kingdom by way of a parable. That is given in Spiritual Parabolic language, “A
certain Nobleman went away into a far country to receive a Kingdom:” How many?
A Kingdom, not Kingdoms, And Return {the coming, or appearing, or Revelation}
and it came about when He returned, after receiving the {One} Kingdom”. He
ordered that these slaves, to whom He had given the money, be called to Him in
order that He might know what business they had done”. --NOW, a Parable is
simply to illustrate an event. Here it Illustrated His going away, or going
back to God the Father to receive what He Christ had created for God, and which
were created for Him Col. 1:16-18, ”For in Him all things were created, both in
the Heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions
or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.
And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also
head of the Body, the Assembly; and He is the beginning, the first-born from
the dead; so that He Himself might come to have first place in everything. For
it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him.”
Hopefully
we can understand that
Christ went back to the Father to claim His inheritance and return during the
lifetime of the 10 slaves, which He gave money for investment… Either He came back
or those 10 slaves or still living--- You make the Scriptural choice. Also you
must decide upon the truth of Matt. 16:28, are there some of the Apostles still
living today? Is this Kingdom the same Kingdom that John said was at hand in
Matt. 3:2, and Jesus mentioned in Matt. 24:14?
What
is meant by Dan. 7:22, where it
states that judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, Who
is the Highest One? The Highest one in this case is clearly discussed in verse
27, notice the Kingdom of the Highest One; “His Kingdom will be an everlasting
Kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him”. The Highest One in
this case is Christ, read verse 14. When verse 14 says that His Kingdom will
never be destroyed, does that mean that Christ will never destroy the earth by
fire? That is exactly what it means, God decreed in Gen. 8:21-22, that He would
never again Curse the earth on the account of Man, and He would never again
destroy every living thing as He had done---That’s the bottom line mystery
solved.
#
3, 4, and 5 has been fully
discussed and solved.
However,
there is an overflow of
evidence, not mentioned in Daniel chapter 7, that must be addressed, Daniel has
mentioned the Kingdom, Assembly, or Church which the Spiritual Covenant
controls; but that which the Covenant controls is not mentioned, it is
mentioned in Dan. 9:24, “ Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people {not
Gentiles} and your holy City, to finish the transgression, to make an end to
sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to
seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most place”, I have covered
Daniel’s Seventy weeks in another lesson; but I have not spoken in regards to
some of the error which for many years have been taught from Dan. 7, and 9, I
suggest that you cannot discuss the sin question of Dan. chapter 9, without
discussing the Kingdom, which embraces the constituents of the Kingdom of
Chapter 7. Understand that to discuss a subject, you do not start in the middle
of the subject, it is not fair to the Scripture, and neither does it do justice
to God… To keep from being Rude, I will not call names, rather submit the
question which arises by adversary’s, of Dan. 9:24, it is claimed that Dan.
9:24 teaches that sin does not exist in this age nor exists in this present New
Covenant World. This must be addressed in a positive way, however, I suggest
that to show first that there is a King, and this King must have constituents,
it is these people who makes up a Kingdom, without a government to rule the
constituents, otherwise you will have nothing but chaos, so you have
government.
There
is laws, rules, regulations
which one must agree too in order to become a member of that Kingdom, will the
government last if the people disobey the general laws and rules and
regulations of the Covenant which controls the Kingdom? There can be no sin at all
in the Body
of Christ, We are buried with Him in baptism, to rise as a new creature, God
destroys the old man of sin, we have been Regenerated, Romans chapter 6. In the
Spiritual world, which the Spiritual Covenant controls sin can no longer be
regarded as existing, especially as it did under the Covenant with Jews only.
People
who disagrees with what God
clearly teaches does so to promote their cause. So long as they can keep you
busy looking for answers to try and prove them wrong they like the Jehovah’s
Witnesses, keeps you searching for answers to show them where they are wrong,
and all the while this is their plan. Keep you away from your people that need
you. Not only this but they divide our people where we disagree, because we
have been confused, and influenced by their consistent arguments… Leave them
alone, if they will not accept God’s Word; for sure they will not accept what
you and I say. God Bless.
OBSERVATIONS.
I
observe by writings in the 1500
and earlier that the reformer’s is really responsible for the many
denominations that exist in our own generation. WHY? ----Each reformer had made
up his own mind as to what the Scriptures taught, and would not join hands in
unity to bring their knowledge together to restore the Lord’s Kingdom; rather
they remained separated and each started their own Church until today there is
more than 1200 denominations in the U.S. Alone. But then I am not here to
judge; rather teach what was written in the first Century and was authored by
the Holy Spirit. Those who began the restoration movement did not have the Holy
Spirit to guide each word. That is why that I ask what will your Answer be to
Acts 4:11-12?
It
is amazing that we read clearly
in Dan 7:13-14 Daniel went up to God, the Ancient of Days to receive a Kingdom.
Where was God in Heaven, or on earth? We know it was Heaven, so if he went to
Heaven to receive a Kingdom, It must have been the Kingdom of Heaven. He
returned with the same Kingdom to earth, did that make it the Kingdom of earth?
Or did it remain the Kingdom of Heaven, yes because it was first established in
Heaven as a Spiritual system in the beginning Matt. 25:34. We do not have 2 Kingdoms
neither do we need 2.
